EPSON Premium Semimatte Photo Paper offers professional
photographers and graphic artists an additional option in resin coated
photographic paper. Highly saturated, high resolution images can now be
displayed on an elegant, understated semimatte finish that minimizes glare,
while maximizing presentation quality. Its 10 mil thickness and extremely
wide color gamut will make this paper a favorite among discerning professionals,
while its instant drying and non-cockling characteristics make use, handling,
and display of finished output trouble-free. It creates highly saturated
prints by offering maximum ink coverage and a high D-Max for true photographic
reproductions.
Like all of Epson's innovative media, this paper is engineered
to give you the highest resolution and color saturation possible. As always,
EPSON supplies guarantee EPSON quality.

Comments |
| Indoor/Outdoor usage |
Indoor Use Only |
|
| Lightfastness |
Over 100 Years with Epson Archival Ink, Over
40 Years with Epson UltraChrome Ink, Over 5 Years with Photographic
Dye Ink |
Lightfastness ratings are based on accelerated
testing of prints on specialty media, displayed indoors, under glass.
Lightfastness only estimates the life of the ink, not the media. |
| Gas-fastness |
Excellent with Epson Archival and UltraChrome
Ink, poor with dye ink. |
With regard to dye-based images, lamination
or framing under glass greatly increases gas-fastness. |
| Dark Storage |
Good |
Prints stored in a photo album in a protective
sleeve will remain stable. |
| Resistance to Water |
Good |
Bleeding does not occur with incidental water
contact. However, this paper is not recommended for use in wet conditions. |
| Ink Drying Time |
Immediate (less than 30 seconds) |
Ink is dry to the touch after printing. However,
it takes 24 hours before it cures and becomes durable. |
| Lamination feasibility |
Hot lamination or cold lamination |
Lamination extends the life of the print and
it increases durability |
